Cut

Your clips in order, with their transitions. The first and last moments of each clip are trimmed for you, because that is where video looks worst.

The cut is made fresh each time from the clips you have now. Make a shot again and the next cut has the new one.

Mix

Every voice at the right moment and every effect under the right shot, balanced to one level. Play it against the picture and listen to the whole film before you render it.

Render & Export

Joins the picture and the sound into one finished video. Two options:

Subtitles

Adds your marked script to the picture as subtitles. They come from the script itself, so they always match the words.

Make it bigger by the minute

Makes the finished film larger and sharper. Run it here, on the finished film, and not on single clips.

You can download:

• This stage — every file this stage made.
• The whole project — one zip file with everything, and a list of which step made each file.

Nothing is final

The cut, the mix and the render are made new every time you run them. Change one clip or one line today, run Render again tomorrow, and your film has the change.
